This track was captured last summer at the opening of MOCA's Sympathy for the Devil Exhibition. We performed in a faux -studio designed by artists Rirkrit Tiravanija, which was essentially a giant plexi-glass cube. All that can be heard by spectators was some yelping, but as soon as you put on any headphones that were sourrounding the cube, you could hear the whole ensemble pounding away. Enjoy it!

So we're playing twice tonight! First, at a new restaurant opening on 44th St. & N. Miami Ave. Then, at PS-14 a little bit later.

Not entirely sure on the times, but I would suggest meandering about the mid 40's & N Miami Ave during Artwalk to get a better idea. PS-14 will most likely be around midnight. SEE YOU THERE

The Down-Home Southernaires

As the mid-millennium summer was closing on Miami and the leaves didn't change, five dandy musicians reunited and recited a new approach to their song-craft: lending to the song as much as possible.

Recorded live in Jose's bedroom with a couple of microphones, this 2004 song cycle revolves around a sound that best suits the name with dark and vaguely straight forward emotions.
